We hired Weddings by Evensia for our wedding in Thailand, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a horrible and incredibly stressful experience—especially for me as the bride. At the start, Bharat from their team was extremely charming and persuasive, confidently selling their services by highlighting past work and promising a seamless experience. However, once we signed on, things quickly took a turn for the worse. We soon discovered that Bharat and his team take a significant commission from the vendors they “recommend.” When we reached out to vendors directly, we were offered considerably lower prices—some even requested that we not mention Bharat or Evensia. To ensure we weren’t overpaying, we hired several of our own vendors, which did not sit well with Bharat and his wife, Samidha—especially when we opted out of using their preferred décor vendor, where they seem to make the largest profit. Throughout the process, Samidha displayed unprofessional behavior, frequently making rude remarks and showing little interest in our wedding. Bharat eventually removed her from our communication and decided she would not attend the wedding, which only further reflected poorly on their team's professionalism. On top of that, every time I brainstormed creative ideas for the wedding, they would shut them down, telling me they were too expensive or not good enough. It was frustrating to have my vision dismissed repeatedly. What made it even worse was that just a few weeks later, at their next wedding, they blatantly used many of my exact ideas! I have no problem with others taking inspiration, but it’s beyond annoying when someone initially shoots down your ideas—only to later use them for someone else. As for the wedding days, despite our contract stating that Bharat was responsible for vendor coordination, he completely stepped back from his role. Instead of managing logistics as promised, he shifted blame onto us whenever issues arose. By the final event, he had all but stopped communicating with us. Rather than enjoying the moment and taking photos before the events, the groom and both our parents had to be on the ground, personally making sure everything was running smoothly. Bharat and his team acted as if they had no responsibility, standing around while we scrambled to handle issues that should have been their job. Their lack of accountability and professionalism turned what should have been a joyous celebration into an unnecessarily stressful experience. The only reason our wedding was even remotely okay was because we spent countless hours finding and negotiating with our own vendors, creating our own mood boards to ensure our vision was understood, and physically overseeing everything during the events. It’s incredibly sad that, instead of celebrating, our families had to take on responsibilities that should have been handled by our planners. No family should have to go through this on such an important occasion. A wedding is one of the most significant moments in life, and our experience with Weddings by Evensia was far from what we had hoped for. Rather than making the process enjoyable, they added unnecessary stress and frustration. Their focus seemed more on maximizing profits than delivering the quality service they promised. We strongly advise against hiring them.

We had family and friends flying from different parts of the world, there was lot to coordinate for so many out of town guests. Many were visiting Asia for the first time. It was so important for us to make sure they not only enjoy wedding but also have great vaccation experience. THANKS to the team of Evensia for making everything look seemless and beautiful.
